I am a frequent parooz'er of Etsy. In fact, scrolling through "vintage" fashion on Etsy is how I spend most evenings, in between flossing and REM sleep. You can imagine the dreams I have...
I am a self proclaimed "old soul," I am certain I've been on this earth before, the first time was on the Titanic, the following life was a short stint in the Halston, disco era. I reference my past lives because I believe they are the source of my vintage obsession. I truly adore clothes from style's yesteryear.
This dress I'm wearing is an Etsy find; it's got this bold, Aztec'y print with a loose shape that is perfect for any belt.
My inspiration for this look was a mix of fashion editor meets Talitha Getty (bohemian Dutch goddess from the 60's). I LOVE the idea of wearing ensembles that are pulled together but completely easy in their
expression.
When your going to work, network or lunch, putting together outfits that are "funky" yet fashion forward always pays off. People perceive that you care about the details and always notice your style effort.
Here's a few tips to pull off a look that is interesting and easy to wear:
1. Incorporate a pattern (make it your main statement)
2. Pair bold colors with said pattern
3. For ease, keep your shoes and belt in the same color story
4. Use your go-to favorite piece as the staple of your look, this way you are already confident in the statement and being creative with your accessories is a less daunting task
5. If it feels good, it looks good! Period.
