This monochromatic, mustard, concoction came to me while getting a last-minute manicure before our holiday party on Saturday.
Why did I have mustard on the brain while getting my paws patched? Perhaps it's the lack of Oscar Meyer's in my life...Although I'm pretty certain it was born from the vintage, mustard'y, YSL, silk top I scored on consignment last week.
I have been desperately plotting outfit options around it ever As my outfit planning time was running out, I still hadn't fully committed to an ensemble for the party. I was daydreaming about the aforementioned YSL top, and like a Christmas miracle, I remembered those impulse purchased, mustard, trousers from last season hanging in the wayyyy back of my closet!
It occurred to me how hot monochromatic'ness is so hot right now and I decided that hot-dog chic was the perfect statement!
Tips with this color:
1. Gold is the bomb combo for accent jewels.
2. Mustard is seriously great on all skin tones, I took a non-scientific poll at the holiday party I attended.
3. It absorbs vodka stains with no messy outline! Thus stick to white liquids when sporting.
