I waded my way through the main floor of Top Shop this weekend, I was anxious to be on the right coast to see what style EyeTems are playing on the main stage.
I was up to my knees in pixie dust and unicorn tears in the SoHo store. (For reference, pixie dust and unicorn tears are the birth parents of glitter.)
Here are some practical glitter get ups that any Eye'er can rock.
From left to right:
1. How about a brocade pair of shorts with a chunky knit? My friend who was with me when I picked this stared at me with crazy eyes, BUT I think it works for that fun night out when starts to get chilly but your knees still need to breathe.
2. The glitter top and skinny jeans is an old stand-by. We've been wearing this outfit since the dawn of time, I'm pretty sure Nefertiti invented this trend at a pyramid, circuit party.
3. The pixie dust party dress. Feel free to wear this one everywhere. I'm pretty sure it's appropriate for late night runs to the pharmacy OR a breakfast date with Prince.
However you slice it or dice it, sparkles are this seasons staple. If your not shining...well, the unicorns will cry, and you'll have that on your conscience.
