Kell on Earth, featuring the single reason I have continued to watch The City, is showing viewers the grittier side of the fashion industry every Monday night on Bravo.
I bow down, raise hats and kick off my Wolford's off to this self-proclaimed "Bitch" who is showing what life in Fashion can really be like.
My first job out of college was similar to "The Devil Wears Prada," and I can attest first hand that the chaos and dark circles are very real and usually followed by feeling that being abducted by King Kong would be better than dealing with a broken printer at a time of duress...After all they are saving lives on those runways right?
That poor blond girl will be lucky to make it out with 2% body fat and remembering her own name. And the cross-dressing assistant (Andrew Makamal) is my new TV bestie (a person I would incorporate into my own life if given the opportunity). He is serving up GLAM/GOTH/GRUNGE with sheer grace.
And how about is the fact that Kelly befriends Elliot Spitzers Call-Girl just for the sake of a diversified group of friends? "Aren't we all whores?" she proclaims so matter-of-fact, Touche Kelly Cutrone, touche...I'll see you next week!
